Summer is officially in full swing and we are LOVING it! We finally have some nice weather. We can swim and enjoy the outdoors. This week I have a quick and easy project that literally took me less than 30 minutes. I love when you can take an existing decoration and repurpose it! And that’s exactly what today’s project is! Don’t stress though, if you don’t have all the supplies starting from scratch will still be super easy! Here’s what you’ll need!
6 wood blocks (mine are 2″x 3″x 6″)
I had these adorable “Spring” blocks I bought years ago and have always wanted to utilize the other side. Using my amazing Silhouette I simply cut out the word “summer” in a cute font.
Next I applied the letters to the back of the blocks, um ya, that simple.
I found this ADORABLE sign from Hobby Lobby a couple weeks ago and instantly fell in love. It will eventually end up in my refinished bedroom, whenever I get to THAT project lol!
That’s it! See, I told you this was a SUPER simple project! And even if you have to make the blocks that would be quick and easy too! Just a little bit of sanding, some paint and you’re ready to add the letters!
HELLO SUMMER! We are SO glad you’re finally here!
