Ok so…confession time, I LOVE MAKEUP!!!!! Remember my organized makeup drawer? Yep, OBSSESED with makeup.  I love to experiment with colors, tips and tricks but with 2 crazy boys (plus one on the way) and an insanely busy husband, getting ready in a timely manner is important. So let’s talk about a few of my favorite everyday makeup products.

Mascara – Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes in Blackest Black
What girl doesn’t spend countless hours and money trying to find the perfect mascara? I have a really good friend who’s AWESOME with makeup (she used to work at the Lancome counter) and every few months I’ll ask her “hey, what’s the best mascara out there?” Which is how I came across this one. I started using it on my wedding day, that’s right folks, I trusted her opinion SO much that I tried, for the first time, a new mascara on my WEDDING day. And I can honestly say I have LOVED it ever since. It’s Loreal Voluminous Million Lash Mascara (and I couldn’t live without it being waterproof). I prefer ‘Blackest Black’. This mascara doesn’t flake off or run down my face even if I cry or sweat. I am a girl who LOVES a fresh coat of mascara so I wash it off everyday and reapply.

Covergirl Eyeshadow Champagne

Eyeshadow – Cover Girl in Champagne
I’m CONSTANTLY questioned about my eyeshadow. I get tons of compliments on it and people wondering what brand and shade it is. I’ve used this same base color probably since high school (do I dare admit that?!) but it’s so versatile I feel like it goes with everything. I really can accent with just about any color and it looks great. It’s definitely one that looks different in the case than it does on your skin, which I think is why people question it so much. It’s actually kind of hard to find in stock (at least at my local Walmart) so whenever they have it I try to grab some and keep it on hand.

Mary Kay Eyeshadow Primer

Eyeshadow Primer – Mary Kay Eye Primer
There’s nothing worse that spending all that time to get that flawless eyeshadow look only for it to crease and fade in 2 hours. This is where the Mary Kay Eye Primer will SAVE. YOUR. LIFE. I’ve been using this for years and could not possible live without it. You only have to use a tiny drop for each eye so this stuff goes a long way. I apply it, let it dry for a minute then get to work on applying my eyeshadow. No more ceases, no more fuss. LOVE this stuff.

e.l.f. cream eyeliner

Eyeliner – e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner in Black
This stuff is amazing and it lasts me FOREVER! I seriously LOVE it. It goes on so smoothly and can easily give you a really dramatic look (if that’s what you’re going for). It took me a bit to perfect this stuff and get consistent, smooth lines but now I can apply it quickly and effortlessly. It does tend to dry out, after quite some time, but I’ve found if you scrape off a ‘layer’ of it underneath is fresh and smooth and ready to go. I’m serious, this stuff lasts a LONG time. If you’re like me and love eyeliner (I’ve been wearing it ever since I started wearing makeup) then you should SERIOUSLY try this. It doesn’t run or flake and it gives you great crisp, solid lines.

Sei Bella Bronzer

Bronzer – Melaleuca Sei Bella Bronze Glo Powder
I know I’ve talked about Melaleuca products a few times now but their stuff seriously is great and I LOVE this Bronzer. Michelle first introduced me to it and I’ve been using it for a few years now. A little goes a long way and I love that. This also lasts a long time (at least for me). It’s a little on the more expensive side but considering how inexpensive the rest of my makeup is I figure I can splurge on this. The color is great and I use this everyday to contour my face.
