If you are looking for something to do this weekend, have about two hours to spare and feel like putting your woodworking skills to good use this is the project for you!

I’ve been wanting to put a shelf in my laundry room for awhile now but I didn’t want to spend a fortune on buying one and I couldn’t find one that would work for the space. Soooo…I decided I’d put one together that WOULD work. I’m pretty happy with this little shelf not only because it turned out pretty similar to what I had in my head (that never happens) but I did it ALL. BY. MYSELF. No lie! All the cutting, nail gunning and painting was done by me. Oh yeah!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

1 of each – Pine Board (1/4 x 1/2 x 2, 1/4 x 1/2 x 4, 1/2 x 8 x 4)
3 – 7″ x 7″ Wooden Shelf Brackets
Sander/Sandpaper
Miter Saw
Nail Gun
Wood Glue
Clamps
Paint
Paint brush
Caulk
