I’m BAAAAAACK!! I’m hoping at least SOME of you noticed I was gone. I took a nice 3 months off and for a fabulous, snuggly, good smelling, tiny reason! We welcomed our third BOY on December 9th, 2015. I was induced 3 weeks early due to a 2 vessel cord and worries of the baby measuring small (that’s a whole other story)! Labor and delivery were my easiest yet and luckily he was born completely healthy! Without further ado introducing:

This little bundle of joy (along with his 2 older brothers) and the holidays, have kept me busy and on my toes these past couple of months! Now that I’ve adjusted to life as a mom of 3 I’m ready to return to the blogging world! I wanted to give you guys a peek at my little guy and his adorable nursery.
His nursery was ultimately inspired by a quilt I’ve wanted to make for at least the past 4 or 5 years. After finding out I was having another boy I decided it was finally time to make it. Years ago I had envisioned the colors I wanted to use and surprisingly stuck with the same color scheme. The quilt was a LOT of applique and took quite some time to arrange and assemble. I call it my “labor of love.” I’m so happy with how it turned out and LOVE that it is completely original. There’s not another one like it in the world!
This part of the nursery is definitely one of my favorites!! Inspired by some cute ideas I saw on Pinterest! I purchased the peg board and pegboard hooks and baskets from Lowes. I had them cut it down to the size I wanted, took it home and hung it on the wall. I love this because I can rearrange and move things on here as much as I want with no added holes in the wall. I got the cute “H” and the little gold antlers from Hobby Lobby. I already had the frames (I inserted my own printable in them) and I made the banner with leftover scraps from the quilt.
Michelle found this adorable material at Hobby Lobby for me and since I LOVE making my own crib sheets I HAD to get it! They are seriously soooo easy to make!!! I have some really cute orange deer head fabric that I still need to make into a sheet so watch for a tutorial on crib sheets coming soon!
I also made my own changing pad covers and found this cute material at JoAnns.
Here are some additional pictures of his nursery. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out.
Owl was purchased from Graples in Nampa, ID. It’s the cutest home decor store.
“I love you…” sign is from Hobby Lobby.
Pallet tree and arrow were purchased from a local craft fair.
Antlers are from The Rad Olive, they came unfinished so I was able to paint and design them how I wanted.
Seriously LOVING how the nursery turned out. And now that the decorating is all done I can relax and snuggle my sweet little baby.
